On 19 January 2002, we drove from my parent's home in Joliet, Illinois, to Janesville, Wisconsin, to visit my old college buddy DennisK. After having a great lunch at Dennis' farm, we went to the UW-Whitewater campus and then dropped in to see my old college buddy JeffW (but he wasn't home).It was a one-day 317 mile trip.
