On Friday, 13 August 2004, I took a 4-hour, 44 mile roadtrip from my home in Tempe to South Mountain Park in Phoenix.

I left home at 9:00am and drove west on Baseline Road. The drive sucked because development along Baseline is happening on both sides of the road. I guess this is called progress.

The main entrance to South Mountain Park, which is south of Baseline Road, is via Central Avenue.
