TempeHiker was wandering around downtown Mesa and to the south he noticed a white elevator (looked like a shorter version of Tempe's Hayden Flour Mill).
The old elevator was located along railroad tracks.
TempeHiker stopped at Micky's Hotdogs to have a hotdog, but Micky's don't serve hotdogs until after 4:00pm so he ended up having a tasty cheese quesadilla. Outdoor seating at Micky's offers a muralized view of the old elevator.
About a mile west down the railroad tracks is a huge mural along with a reminder that Mesa is a previous All-America City.
