September 17th is Constitution Day

On 8 December 2004, President George W. Bush signed a bill (public law 108-447) designating September 17th as Constitution Day. Funds have been allocated so public schools across the country can spend time allowing students to learn about the Constitution of the United States of America.

   We the People of the United States, in Order to form a 
   more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic 
   Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote 
   the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty 
   to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish 
   this Constitution for the United States of America.
