Some holidays are cool because the are a PDO (i.e. Paid Day Off). A PDO is a day where you don't have to go to work, yet you still get paid. This resource tries to ignore religous holidays.Here is the summary section from the 28 October 2002 Alertbox article by Jakob Nielsen:
